How to book tickets for the 2019 French Grand Prix?

Tickets can be booked online on the official website.

Which categories and rates are available for sale?

A variety of categories are on sale to suit all preferences in Gold, Silver, Bronze and General Admission categories. Alongside full price, special rates are available for 6-12 yo children, wheelchair user companions and disabled spectators’ companions, both as 3-day passes and day passes.

Children under 6 can access free of charge but do not get their own seat.

My child is 12 years old, can we buy a 6-12 years old ticket ?

The 6-12 years old rate is applicable for the children under 12, were born before 23 June 2007.

What is General Admission ?

General Admission corresponds to visibility areas around the track. It does not correspond to grandstand seats. If you have grandstand tickets, you can acess to general admission.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards. Our safe Electronic Payment Terminal ensures secure online payments using the SSL Protocol for safe online shopping transactions. No credit card data is stored on our site. You can request an invoice at the time of purchase.

Do I need to write all the names of the attendees on the tickets ?

No, you don’t, the tickets aren’t nominatives.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Tickets cannot be exchanged nor refunded unless the Grand Prix is cancelled or interrupted before it has reached its midpoint for reasons other than a force majeure event or the act of a third party. All requests for reimbursement in such a case must be sent to GIP within three months of the Event. Please check the legibility of your tickets upon receipt and contact us immediately for any claims. In accordance with the provisions of article L221-28,12° of the French Consumer Protection Code the customer’s right of withdrawal do not apply to the purchase of Tickets.

My friends and I, bought tickets separately, could you please, change our location to be seated next to each other ?

No replacement will be made, you have to put all tickets in one order to be seated next to each other.

Which accessible ticketing options exist?

Please check the accessible info page for information on accessible ticketing. A specific offer has been designed for wheelchair users, as well as for disabled spectators who can walk so that every visitor can enjoy an unrivalled event-day experience.

When will I receive my tickets?

All tickets are electronic tickets. You will be given a possibility to download your e-tickets or receive them in your passbook (digital wallet). Tickets will be sent starting April 2019, latest one month before the event. A confirmation of your order will be sent upon purchase.

Will I need to print my tickets?

We strongly recommend you print your tickets in order to speed up the process upon entry. Your order confirmation or the voucher issued by a reseller will not grant access to the circuit.

Can I choose my seat location?

You can choose your preferred grandstand when booking your tickets. The best available seats will be allocated automatically, with all tickets in a single order sat together.

Is parking included in my ticket?

A parking solution will be offered free of charge (car or motorcycle) with your ticket. This may require the use of a shuttle to reach the circuit.

Wheelchair users and impaired spectators can book a parking pass within the circuit along with their pass (one pass per order). Practical information

What more does my ticket include?

A Formula 1 Grand Prix features practice on Friday and Saturday morning, qualifying on Saturday and the race on Suunday. 3-day pass include all these races. You can also watch support races, entertainment in the fan zone, parades, concerts and much more. 3-day pass holders will get exclusive access to the circuit on Thursday for the drivers’ autograph session and pitlane walk.

Your ticket includes:

  • Drivers autograph session and pitlane walk (accessible to 3-day pass holders only);
    access to the general admission areas. Grandstand ticket holders also get a seat in the grandstand they purchased;
  • A parking solution (car or motorcycle). Practical information ;
  • Entertainment areas, fan zone and concerts each day.

Where can I stay during the French Grand Prix?

Stay at the official campsite, only a stone’s throw away from the circuit to avoid the traffic jam. Each unit can accommodate 1 vehicle and up to 5 people.
Arrival starting Wedneyday 19 June at 10 a.m, departures until Monday 24 June at 2 p.m. Enjoy unlimited reentry between campsite and the circuit during the day.

What do I need to know about the Campsite?

There is no electricity nor water connection. Power generators are prohibited. For safety reasons, barbecues are prohibited. You will find clean showers (open from 7 a.m to 10 p.m) and toilets.

How do I get to the Campsite?

The campsite is located at the north of the circuit. You will receive indications by e-mail closer to the date of the event.

What can I take along to the Grand Prix?

To ensure the safety of our visitors, the GIP Grand Prix Le Castellet is applying strict security measures decided by the French authorities in accordance with French anti-terrorist regulations (Vigipirate). Only one bag per person is authorised (handbag / backpack). Large bags, coolers and suitcases are prohibited. Folding chairs and umbrellas are permitted.

The following items are forbidden within the circuit:

  • Weapons and sharp objects
  • Explosives, inflammable substances, fireworks, flares and pyrotechnics
  • Glassware
  • Fire
  • Animals, except guide dogs
  • Alcohol
  • Drones
  • Laser pointers
  • Any medium with commercial, political, ideological, philosophical or religious purpose or character
